The Betsy - South Beach is a world-recognized boutique luxury hotel located on Ocean Drive that embraces community-conscious endeavors under the auspices of Philanthropy, Arts, Culture, and Education Programming. Each room at the hotel has a small library, and a Writers in Residence Program has hosted 450+ creators/scholars since April 1, 2012. 

Since opening in 2009, the hotel and has worked with over 350 nonprofit partners. Jewish Cultural programming includes support for JAHLIT, the Miami Jewish Federation, UJA-NY, Miller Center for Contemporary Jewish Studies at the University of Miami, the Amernet Quartet, and the Exile Studies program at Florida International University, among many others.  A new Yiddish Culture Salon occurs monthly at The Betsy, welcoming Yiddish speakers and those speaking Y-English too – for a morning of Bagels, Lox, and Conversation, hosted by Professor Asher Milbauer, founder of the Exile Studies program at Florida International University.

The Betsy has offered discounted rates of $249 on Friday and Saturday nights, and $199 on Sunday through Thursday nights.
